ABOUT Callie

At the age of 37, amid a flourishing career, I was dealt a devastating blow: stage IV double expressor lymphoma. For three long years, I battled aggressive and refractory cancer with various treatments, including chemo, intrathecal chemo, radiation therapy, and a CAR T-cell transplant. These treatments took their toll on my body and completely turned my life and career upside down. As a young survivor, I have grappled with intense fear, guilt, and the struggle to find a sense of normalcy in a world that doesn't fully understand the unique challenges faced by survivors like myself. That's why I founded Confronting Cancer - to share my personal journey, offer valuable resources, and create a supportive community for others fighting similar battles. Together, let's break the stigma surrounding cancer and reclaim our lives.
